This bar of soap has great lather and supper scrubbing power. A wonderful combo of herbal scents come together in one bar of soap. Cedar, lavender, bergamot, orange and citronella. The scrubbing power comes from ground seeds and herbs.

I am so excited, exhausted & disorganized, but we are so happy that we now have our own Home! This fall Gene and I took the big plunge and bought a 1920's brick bungalow up in the Rogers

Shanna Hensler McDonald founder of Big City Suds, (Architect by trade, mother and entrepreneur) She worked in the Architecture world for many years, but always dreamed of a way of life that merged her love for design with the act of creating things by hand. Based out of Chicago IL, Big City Suds got its start the summer of 2009 when given the opportunity to sell at a local farmers market Big City Suds is a Chicago-based, handmade soap company offering delightfully scented, earth-friendly soaps and lip balms. The inspiration for Big City Suds was created out of a personal need for soaps and lip balms that were good for the skin and didn’t have any chemicals or toxins in them. After studying and researching the history of soap making, modern techniques and the different processes of creating soap, we settled on making our soap the old-fashioned way - from scratch! Using the cold processed method, we have developed a solid method for soap creation. Big City uses a variety of natural scents and oils to create soap. And above all, it’s hand-made, so a little love goes into every bar. We hope you enjoy our soap!
